Anheuser-Busch and it’s parent company AB InBev own a large share of the beer brands on sale in the US including leading favorites such as Bud Light, Budweise and Natural Light and international brands Beck’s and Hoegaarden.
But they don’t control the whole market. There are a range of brands and individual beers that are not controlled by this brewing giant.
Popular beers in this category include Miller Lite (and all other Miller beers), Coors Light (and all other Coors beers), Keystone Light.
In this article we give you a full list of beers not brewed by Anheuser-Busch. This kind of information has been in demand since the boycott of Bud Light and other Anheuser-Busch brands instituted by some beer drinkers following the Dylan Mulvaney controversy.

León
As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, there are numerous beers that are not owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev, the parent company of Anheuser-Busch. Anheuser-Busch InBev is one of the largest beer conglomerates in the world and owns many well-known beer brands. However, there are still plenty of independent and craft breweries that produce beers not owned by Anheuser-Busch. Some examples of independent breweries and their beers could include:
- Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. – Known for Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and other craft beers.
- Dogfish Head Brewery – Known for a variety of creative and unique beers.
- Stone Brewing – Renowned for its bold and flavorful craft beers.
- New Belgium Brewing – Famous for Fat Tire Amber Ale and other innovative beers.
- Samuel Adams (Boston Beer Company) – Known for its diverse range of craft beers.
Please note that the ownership status of breweries can change over time due to acquisitions, mergers, and other business changes. It’s a good idea to verify the ownership of a specific brewery or beer with the most recent information available.
